Community Supported Agriculture programs are a great way to increase your consumption of locally grown foods. Known as CSAs, these programs are partnerships between farmers and consumers. Participants offer fiscal support to a farm by paying up front in the spring and, in return, receive a weekly box of farm fresh food throughout the growing season.
Many CSA farms provide newsletters and recipes for their members and some hold farm events or encourage members to help out on the farm. Contact farms directly for more details, or read more about their offerings in our 2018 Locally Grown guide.
